Where is the PVC valve on a 2005 Tacoma?

The PCV valve on a 2005 Tacoma is installed in the intake manifold. To remove and replace it, you will need a screwdriver and a new PCV valve.

Start by removing the air cleaner cover and the air filter. Remove the intake hose and the breather chamber. You should now see the PCV valve installed in the intake manifold.

Use a screwdriver to loosen and remove the PCV valve. Be careful not to drop the valve into the intake manifold. Install the new PCV valve by hand, and then use the screwdriver to tighten it until it is snug.

Reinstall the breather chamber, the intake hose, and the air filter. Replace the air cleaner cover, and you are finished.
