How do you know where plug wires go on the coil packs 1999 Chevy surburban?

1. Identify the coil packs. They are located on top of the engine, and there are eight of them.

2. Remove the bolts holding the engine covers.

3. Remove the coil packs. They are held in place by two bolts.

4. Inspect the coil packs for damage. If any are damaged, replace them.

5. Install the new coil packs, if needed.

6. Reinstall the bolts holding the engine covers.

7. Connect the plug wires to the coil packs. The plug wires are numbered from 1 to 8. The number on the plug wire should correspond to the number on the coil pack.
