1. Park the truck on level ground and turn off the engine.
2. Locate the transmission fluid fill plug. It is usually located on the side of the transmission, near the top.
3. Clean the area around the fill plug to prevent dirt from entering the transmission.
4. Remove the fill plug.
5. Insert a funnel into the fill hole.
6. Add transmission fluid to the transmission until it reaches the bottom of the fill hole.
7. Replace the fill plug and tighten it securely.
8. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
9. Check the transmission fluid level again and add more fluid if necessary.
