1. Stop the car and engage the parking brake.
2. Exit the car and go to the rear of the vehicle.
3. Locate the latches on the top frame about three inches above the trunk, one on each side of the vehicle.
4. Pull the latch release levers to release the latches.
5. Return to the driver's seat.
6. Look for the button marked "CONV" on the dash panel of the vehicle.
7. Press and hold the CONV button until the convertible top is fully opened or closed.
Note: If the convertible top does not operate, check the fluid level in the hydraulic pump. If the fluid is low, add hydraulic fluid until it reaches the "Full" mark on the dipstick.
