Instructions:
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal:

3. Remove the distributor cap:

4. Check the distributor seal:

5. Align the distributor:

6. Place the new rotor on the distributor shaft:

8. Tighten the distributor hold-down clamp:
- Secure the distributor in place by tightening its hold-down clamp using a 10mm socket and a ratchet.
9. Reattach the distributor cap:
- Put the distributor cap back onto the distributor and snap it into place. Ensure the cap is correctly seated and secured.
10. Reconnect the negative battery terminal:
- Restore power to the vehicle by reconnecting the negative battery terminal.
11. Check for proper ignition:
- Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. Listen for any unusual sounds or vibrations. If the engine runs smoothly, the distributor installation was successful.
