To use the air suspension control panel to deflate the air springs, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the car engine is running.
2. Locate the air suspension control panel on the dashboard.
3. Press the "Down" button on the control panel repeatedly until the air springs are fully deflated.
4. If the air springs do not deflate completely, use a small drill bit to manually release the air as described below.
To manually release the air from the air springs using a small drill bit, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the car engine is turned off.
2. Locate the air springs on the rear of the car.
3. Use a 1/16-inch drill bit to make a hole in the bottom of each air spring.
4. Allow the air to escape from the air springs.
5. Once the air springs are fully deflated, plug the holes with rubber stoppers or similar material.
6. Note: drilling holes in the air springs will permanently disable them, and you will not be able to use the air suspension system on your car anymore.
To use a hand-operated air compressor to deflate the air springs, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the car engine is turned off.
2. Locate the air springs on the rear of the car.
3. Connect the air compressor to the air spring valve on one of the air springs.
4. Turn on the air compressor and allow it to run until the air spring is fully deflated.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for the other air spring.
Note: Once the air springs are deflated, you will need to disable the air suspension system to prevent the air springs from inflating again. To do this, simply remove the air suspension control module fuse from the fuse box.
