Here are the step-by-step instructions on how to access and replace it:
1. Open the glove box.
2. Remove the two plastic retainer pins holding the glove compartment door to the dashboard.
3. Once removed gently pull the door down to un-hook it from the bottom clips.
4. Set aside the glove compartment door.
5. Locate the Blower Motor Resistor. It will be a black plastic unit with two electrical connectors plugged into it.
6. Disconnect the two electrical connectors from the blower motor resistor.
7. Remove the two screws holding the resistor in place.
8. Pull the resistor out of its housing.
9. Replace the resistor with a new one.
10. Reinsert the two screws.
11. Reconnect the two electrical connectors.
12. Reattach the glove compartment door.
