Where is the blower motor resistor located on a 2003 Dodge Dakota?

The blower motor resistor on a 2003 Dodge Dakota is located in the passenger side climate control housing, behind the glove box. To access the resistor, you must remove the glove box.

Tools and Supplies Needed

-Flashlight

-Wrench

-Razor blade or box cutter

Instructions

1. Open the glove box.

2. Squeeze the tabs behind the glove box and pull to release it.

3. Remove the glove box liner and locate the blower motor resistor.

4. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the resistor.

5. Remove the retaining nut holding the resistor in place and remove the resistor.

6. Make note of the positioning of the resistor before removing it.

7. Install the replacement resistor in the reverse order of removal.
