1. Safely park your vehicle and turn off the engine. Be sure to apply the parking brake.
2. Gather the necessary tools. You will need a Phillips head screwdriver and a flat head screwdriver or pry tool.
3. Locate the four trim panels surrounding the radio. Two are located on either side of the radio and two are located above and below the radio.
4. Use the flat-head screwdriver or pry tool to gently pry the trim panels loose. Start by prying up one corner of a panel and then work your way around the entire panel. Be careful not to damage the trim panels or the dashboard.
5. Once the trim panels have been removed, you will see four screws holding the radio in place. Use the Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws.
6. Once the screws have been removed, you will need to reach behind the radio and disconnect the wiring harness. Be sure to disconnect all of the wires, including the antenna wire.
7. Once all of the wires have been disconnected, you can remove the radio from the dashboard. Be careful not to drop the radio.
8. Installation is the opposite of removal. Be sure to connect all of the wires correctly before securing the radio in place.
