2. Locate the blower motor resistor. On the 2002 Cavalier, it is located in the passenger footwell, behind the glove box.
3. You can gain remove the glove box by opening it and gently squeezing the sides to release it.
4. Once you have removed the glove box, you will be able to see the blower motor resistor. It is a small black box with a few wires connected to it.
5. Disconnect the wires from the blower motor resistor.
6. Remove the blower motor resistor by unbolting it from the mounting bracket.
7. Install the new blower motor resistor.
8. Reconnect the wires to the blower motor resistor.
9. Reinstall the glove box.
10. Start the engine and test the blower motor.
