1. Remove engine covers.
> - _Remove_ two Torx screws and plastic cover to expose plug wires.
> - _Remove_ coil cover on driver’s side by pushing up and out on both ends from the front to disconnect the locking tabs to remove the cover.
2. Unplug Coil Wres
> - _Gently_ pull spark plug wires to detach them from the spark plug.
> - Note: Spark plug wire boots cannot be twisted off like those on some other engines or damage will occur.
3. Remove Coil packs
> - _Unbolt_ two 8 mm bolts holding coil packs in place and detach.
4. Remove spark plugs.
> - _Use_ spark plug socket with a sliding T-bar or a spark plug wrench to remove plugs from the engine block. They may be very tight, so some muscle may be required.
5. Install new plugs.
> - _Spark plugs_ should be gapped to .054.
> - _Install new_ plugs by hand until lightly seated, then use socket and T handle or spark plug wrench to tighten securely.
> - _Install Coil Packs_ by securing 8 mm bolts that were previously removed.
> - _Reconnected Spark plug Wires_ by pushing connectors over spark plugs until they "click".
> - _Install Coil covers_ by pushing up and out in the front then down and in towards the back of the vehicle until locking tabs snap into place and securing with Torx screws.
> - _Replace Engine Cover_.
