You will need:
- Replacement running light bulb
- Socket wrench set
- Flat-head screwdriver
1. Park your vehicle in a safe location and turn off the engine. Be sure to engage the parking brake.
2. Open the hood of your vehicle. Locate the running light bulb that needs to be replaced. It is usually located in the front of the vehicle, near the headlight.
3. Remove the housing cover. There may be a few screws or bolts holding it in place. Use a socket wrench to remove them.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the running light bulb. Do this by gently prying it off with a flat-head screwdriver.
5. Remove the old running light bulb from the housing. Hold it firmly and twist it counterclockwise to remove it.
6. Insert the new running light bulb into the housing. Be sure to align it correctly and turn it clockwise until it is secure.
7. Reconnect the electrical connector to the running light bulb. Ensure it is properly seated.
8. Replace the housing cover and secure it with the screws or bolts.
9. Close the hood of your vehicle. You have now successfully replaced the running light bulb on your 2007 Chevrolet Pickup!
Tips:
- If the running light bulb is difficult to reach, you may need to use a flashlight or work light to see it better.
- Be careful not to drop the running light bulb. It could break if it hits the ground.
- Test the running light bulb by turning on the headlights and checking the function of the running lights.
