* 3/8-inch drive ratchet
* 1/2-inch drive ratchet
* 15mm socket
* 18mm socket
* 22mm socket
* 24mm socket
* 36mm socket
* Extension bars
* Pry bar
* Hammer
Instructions
1. Raise the vehicle and support it on jack stands.
2. Remove the serpentine belt.
3. Remove the power steering pump pulley.
4. Remove the water pump pulley.
5. Remove the crankshaft bolt.
6. Remove the front engine mount bracket and mount assembly.
7. Use a pry bar and hammer to pry the harmonic balancer off the crankshaft.
Tips
* Use penetrating oil to loosen the harmonic balancer.
* Be careful not to damage the crankshaft or the harmonic balancer.
* If you do not have a pry bar, you can use two pry bars or a pry bar and a hammer.
Reassembly
1. Install the harmonic balancer on the crankshaft.
2. Install the front engine mount bracket and mount assembly.
3. Install the crankshaft bolt.
4. Install the water pump pulley.
5. Install the power steering pump pulley.
6. Install the serpentine belt.
