The cabin air filter in a 2006-2010 Jeep Commander is located behind the glove box. To access the filter, you will need to:
1. Open the glove box.
2. Press the two plastic tabs on either side of the glove box to release it from the dashboard.
3. Pull the glove box out and set it aside.
4. Locate the cabin air filter housing on the left side of the dashboard.
5. Remove the cover from the cabin air filter housing by turning the two screws counterclockwise.
6. Pull the old cabin air filter out of the housing.
7. Insert a new cabin air filter into the housing, making sure that the arrow on the filter is pointing towards the front of the vehicle.
8. Replace the cover on the cabin air filter housing and turn the two screws clockwise to secure it.
9. Put the glove box back into place and press it until it clicks closed.
