1. Disconnect the battery. This is the most important step, as it will prevent you from accidentally electrocuting yourself. To disconnect the battery, simply use a wrench to loosen the negative terminal cable and then remove it.

2. Locate the starter. The starter is located on the front of the engine, on the passenger side. It is a cylindrical object with a solenoid attached to it.

3. Remove the bolts holding the starter in place. There are two bolts that hold the starter in place. The first one is located on the top of the starter, and the second one is located on the bottom.
