How do you change the back up light in a 2003 Chevy Impala?

To change the backup lights in a 2003 Chevrolet Impala, you will need a new bulb and a flathead screwdriver. Follow these steps:

Open the trunk of the Impala.

Remove the two Phillips-head screws that hold the lower light housing in place.

Press the housing gently and pull to release it from the car.

Remove the old light bulb from the socket by turning it counterclockwise.

Insert the new bulb into the socket and turn it clockwise to secure it.

Slide the housing back into place and secure it with the two Phillips-head screws.

Open the driver’s-side door and turn on the backup light knob to test the new bulb.

If the new bulb is working properly, close the trunk and you’re finished!
