1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the steering wheel (if necessary).
3. Remove the ignition lock cylinder retaining pin.
4. Push the ignition lock cylinder out of the housing with the key in the off position.
5. Remove the tumbler spring from the housing with a small pick.
6. Remove the tumbler from the housing.
*Note: If you are unable to remove the ignition switch tumbler, you may need to take your vehicle to a qualified mechanic.*
