How to Replace the Rear Brake Light on a 2002 Pontiac Bonneville

Tools and Materials:

- Phillips-head screwdriver

- Flat-head screwdriver

- Replacement brake light bulb

- Socket wrench set

Instructions:

1. Park your Pontiac Bonneville in a safe location and turn off the engine.

2. Open the trunk of your Bonneville.

3. Locate the taillight assembly that contains the brake light bulb.

4. Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the screws that secure the taillight assembly to the trunk.

5. Carefully pry the taillight assembly out of the trunk.

6. Locate the brake light bulb socket inside the taillight assembly.

7. Use a flat-head screwdriver to gently pry the brake light bulb out of the socket.

8. Insert the new brake light bulb into the socket and twist it clockwise until it is secure.

9. Reinstall the taillight assembly into the trunk and secure it with the screws.

10. Close the trunk and test the brake lights.
