Where do you put the coolant on a 98 Malibu 3.1?

To add coolant to a 1998 Malibu 3.1, follow these steps:

1. Park your Malibu on level ground and turn off the engine. Allow the engine to cool down completely.

2. Locate the coolant reservoir. It is a white or translucent plastic tank located near the front of the engine bay, on the driver's side.

3. Check the coolant level in the reservoir. The coolant should be between the "MIN" and "MAX" marks on the side of the reservoir.

4. If the coolant level is low, add a 50/50 mixture of ethylene glycol antifreeze and water to the reservoir. Do not overfill the reservoir.

5. Replace the coolant reservoir cap and start the engine. Allow the engine to run for a few minutes to circulate the coolant.

6. Check the coolant level again and add more coolant if necessary.

7. Continue to monitor the coolant level and add coolant as needed to keep it between the "MIN" and "MAX" marks on the reservoir.
