Here are the steps on how to read the serpentine belt routing diagram:
1. Locate the tensioner pulley. This is the pulley that has a spring-loaded mechanism that keeps the belt tight.
2. Follow the belt from the tensioner pulley to the next pulley.
3. Continue to follow the belt around the engine, going around each pulley in a clockwise direction.
4. The belt will eventually return to the tensioner pulley.
Note: The diagram may also show the location of the idler pulley. The idler pulley does not put any tension on the belt, but it helps to guide the belt around the engine.
