2. Locate the power steering pump reservoir. It is usually located on the front or side of the engine, near the power steering pump.
3. Place a fluid drain pan under the power steering pump reservoir to catch any fluid that may leak out.
4. Use a 5/8 inch wrench to loosen the power steering fluid return hose from the reservoir.
5. Use a 9/16 inch wrench to loosen the power steering fluid pressure hose from the reservoir.
6. Remove the mounting bolts from the power steering pump reservoir using the 5/8 inch wrench. Lift the reservoir out of the vehicle.

8. Install the new power steering pump reservoir.
9. Tighten the mounting bolts to secure the reservoir.

11. Add power steering fluid to the reservoir until the fluid level is between the “full” and “add” marks on the dipstick.
12. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. Check for leaks and ensure the fluid level stays within the desired range.
13. If there are no leaks, turn off the engine and top off the power steering fluid if necessary.
Note:
- Be sure to dispose of the old power steering fluid properly. It is typically considered a hazardous waste. Check with your local waste disposal regulations for specific instructions.
- If you do not feel comfortable performing this task, take your vehicle to a qualified mechanic.
