Where is the slave cylinder on a 2002 Chevrolet S10?

The slave cylinder is located on the driver's side of the transmission. It is connected to the clutch fork by a pushrod. The slave cylinder is actuated by the master cylinder, which is located in the engine compartment. When the driver steps on the clutch pedal, the master cylinder sends fluid to the slave cylinder, which in turn pushes the clutch fork against the pressure plate. This disengages the clutch, allowing the driver to shift gears.
