- Low brake fluid: Check the brake fluid reservoir and make sure it's full. If it's low, add brake fluid and see if the light goes off.
- Faulty wheel speed sensor: The wheel speed sensors monitor the speed of each wheel and send that information to the ABS control module. If one of these sensors is faulty, it can cause the ABS light to come on.
- Faulty ABS control module: The ABS control module is the brains of the ABS system. If it's faulty, it can cause the ABS light to come on.
- Electrical problem: A short or loose connection in the ABS system can also cause the ABS light to come on.
