Will the seat belts from a 97 Jeep Wrangler work in 98 Wrangler?

The seat belts from a 1997 Jeep Wrangler will not work in a 1998 Wrangler because the mounting points for the seat belts were changed between the two model years. The 1997 Wrangler used a two-point seat belt system, while the 1998 Wrangler used a three-point system. The three-point system included a lap belt, shoulder belt, and retractor, which were not present on the two-point system. Additionally, the mounting points for the shoulder belts were moved from the B-pillar to the top of the door frames.
