How do you remove a harmonc balancer 1967 Chevy 327 cid?

To remove a harmonic balancer from a 1967 Chevy 327 cid engine, you will need the following tools:

* A 3/8-inch drive ratchet

* A 1/2-inch drive breaker bar

* A 15/16-inch socket

* A harmonic balancer puller (available at most auto parts stores)

Once you have gathered your tools, follow these steps:

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the radiator shroud.

3. Remove the fan and water pump pulley.

4. Use the 3/8-inch drive ratchet and 15/16-inch socket to loosen the harmonic balancer bolt. Do not remove the bolt completely.

5. Use the 1/2-inch drive breaker bar to turn the harmonic balancer bolt counterclockwise until the harmonic balancer is loose.

6. Use the harmonic balancer puller to pull the harmonic balancer off of the crankshaft.

Be careful not to drop the harmonic balancer. It is a heavy object and could cause injury if dropped.

Once the harmonic balancer is removed, you can install the new harmonic balancer. To do this, simply reverse the steps you took to remove the old harmonic balancer.

Be sure to tighten the harmonic balancer bolt to the proper torque specification. The torque specification for the harmonic balancer bolt on a 1967 Chevy 327 cid engine is 120 ft-lbs.
