1. Turn off the engine and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Open the glove box and remove its contents.
3. On the right side of the glove box opening, locate a black plastic panel held in place by three Philips screws. Remove those screws.
4. Pull out the black plastic panel to expose the blower motor and the blower motor resistor. The resistor is a small, rectangular-shaped component with electrical connections.
5. Disconnect the electrical connectors attached to the blower motor resistor.
6. Remove the old resistor by turning it counterclockwise and pulling it out.
7. Install the new resistor by pushing it into place and turning it clockwise until it clicks.
8. Reconnect the electrical connectors.
9. Replace the black plastic panel and secure it with the three Philips screws.
10. Put the glove box contents back in and close it.
11. Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
