Tools and Materials
- Replacement parking light bulb
- Pry tool or flat-head screwdriver
Instructions
1. Park your car and turn off the engine.
2. Open the hood of your car.
3. Locate the parking light bulb that needs to be replaced.
- The parking light bulbs are located in the front of the vehicle, next to the headlights.
4. Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise to remove it.
- If the bulb socket does not turn easily, you may need to gently pry it out with a pry tool or flat-head screwdriver.
5. Remove the old parking light bulb from the socket.
6. Insert the new parking light bulb into the socket.
7. Turn the bulb socket clockwise to secure it in place.
8. Close the hood of your car.
Tips
- If you are having difficulty removing the bulb socket, you may need to use a little bit of force. However, be careful not to damage the socket.
- Be sure to replace the parking light bulb with a new bulb of the same size and wattage.
