The fuse box of the Mitsubishi Carisma is located inside the engine compartment. To access the fuse box proceed as follows:
* Open the hood of your Mitsubishi Carisma.
* Locate the fuse box cover which is usually in a black or gray plastic housing. In general, it is near the windshield on the passenger side.
* Remove the fuse box cover by lifting or unclipping it.
* You should now have access to the fuses inside the fuse box.
There are two types of fuses in the Mitsubishi Carisma:
* Mini fuses are small, rectangular, and usually red, blue or yellow.
* Blade fuses are larger and have a metal blade that makes contact with the fuse box terminals.
The fuse box diagram on the inside of the cover should help you identify the location and rating of each fuse. If a fuse is blown, it will be visibly damaged and will need to be replaced with a new fuse of the same rating.
