Tools and Materials needed:
1. New front turn signal light bulb
2. Pliers or a flathead screwdriver
3. Jack (if changing bulbs in the front)
Front turn signal light:
1. Park your Honda Accord on a level surface and engage the parking brake. If you are changing the bulb in the front turn signal, you may need to raise the front of the car using a jack and jack stands.
2. Locate the turn signal lens. The front turn signal lens is located in the front bumper, on either side of the vehicle.
3. Remove the turn signal lens. Use pliers or a flathead screwdriver to release the tabs holding the turn signal lens in place, and then remove the lens.
4. Remove the old bulb. Once the turn signal lens has been removed, you'll see the turn signal bulb. Twist the bulb counterclockwise to remove it from its socket.
5. Install the new bulb. Insert the new bulb into the socket and turn it clockwise until it's snug.
6. Replace the turn signal lens. Realign the tabs on the turn signal lens with the corresponding holes on the housing and press them back into place.
7. Test the turn signal light. Turn on your car and check that the turn signal light works properly.
Rear turn signal light:
1. Open the trunk of your Honda Accord.
2. Locate the rear turn signal socket. The rear turn signal socket is located in the rear of the vehicle, behind the taillight lens.
3. Remove the old bulb. Use your pliers or a flathead screwdriver to turn the bulb counterclockwise and remove it from its socket.
4. Install the new bulb. Insert the new bulb into the socket and turn it clockwise until it's snug.
5. Replace the taillight lens. Close the trunk of your car to ensure the taillight lens is secure.
