2. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.
3. Locate the oil filter housing. On a 1993 Honda Accord, the oil filter housing is typically located on the passenger side of the engine, near the top.
4. Remove the oil filter cap by turning it counterclockwise.
5. Remove the old oil filter by twisting it counterclockwise.
6. Apply a thin coat of new oil to the gasket of the new oil filter.
7. Screw the new oil filter onto the oil filter housing by turning it clockwise until it is snug.
8. Replace the oil filter cap by turning it clockwise until it is snug.
