2. Starter ignition switch: The ignition switch is responsible for initiating current to the starter motor when the key is turned. A worn or damaged ignition switch can interrupt this flow of current. Try turning the key back and forth while starting to see if the car starts.
3. Bad starter: The starter motor is responsible for cranking the engine. A worn-out starter may not be able to generate enough torque to crank the engine. Try tapping the starter with a hammer while someone else tries to start the car to see if that helps.
4. Battery: A weak battery may not have enough power to crank the engine. Try jump-starting the car to see if that helps.
5. Neutral safety switch: This switch ensures the car is in Park or Neutral before allowing it to start. A faulty neutral safety switch can prevent the starter from engaging.
6. Wiring issues: Damaged or corroded wiring can cause issues with the electrical system, including the stater circuit. Check the wiring for any damage and repair/replace as necessary.
