1. Open the hood of your vehicle.
2. Locate the brake fluid reservoir. It is usually a translucent plastic container with a black cap and is located on the driver's side of the engine bay.
3. Remove the cap of the brake fluid reservoir.
4. Fill the reservoir with DOT 3 or DOT 4 brake fluid, leaving about 1/4 inch of space at the top of the reservoir.
5. Replace the cap of the brake fluid reservoir tightly.
6. Check the brake fluid level periodically and add fluid as needed.
Note: It's important to use only the recommended type of brake fluid specified in your vehicle's owner's manual. Using the wrong type of brake fluid can damage your vehicle's braking system.
