How do you bleed the power steering system on a 1990 Nissan 240sx?

1. Prepare the vehicle by turning off the engine and parking it on a level surface. Make sure the parking brake is engaged.

2. Open the hood and locate the power steering fluid reservoir. It is typically a translucent plastic container with a black cap.

3. Remove the cap from the reservoir and inspect the fluid level. It should be between the "FULL" and "ADD" marks on the dipstick. If the fluid level is low, add enough fluid to bring it up to the "FULL" mark.

4. Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes. This will circulate the power steering fluid through the system and help to bleed any air that may be trapped.

5. While the engine is idling, turn the steering wheel all the way to the left and then all the way to the right. Hold the steering wheel in each position for a few seconds. This will help to work any trapped air out of the system.

6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 several times until you no longer see any air bubbles in the power steering fluid reservoir.

7. Once you have bled the power steering system, turn off the engine and let it cool down.

8. Check the power steering fluid level again and make sure it is between the "FULL" and "ADD" marks on the dipstick. If necessary, add fluid to bring it up to the "FULL" mark.

9. Close the hood and you're done!
