1. Park the car on level ground and engage the parking brake.
2. Turn on the engine and let it run for a few minutes to warm up the transmission fluid.
3. Turn off the engine.
4. Open the hood and locate the transmission fluid dipstick. It is usually marked with a red or orange cap and is located near the back of the engine bay.
5. Pull the dipstick out and wipe it clean with a rag.
6. Insert the dipstick back into the transmission and push it all the way in.
7. Pull the dipstick out again and check the fluid level. The fluid should be between the "Full" and "Add" marks on the dipstick.
8. If the fluid level is low, add enough transmission fluid to bring it up to the "Full" mark. Use only Honda Genuine Transmission Fluid or an equivalent product.
9. Replace the dipstick and close the hood.
