You will need:
* A new oxygen sensor
* A wrench
* A screwdriver
Step 1: Park your Corolla in a safe location and turn off the engine. Allow it to cool down completely.
Step 2: Locate the oxygen sensor. It is located on the exhaust manifold, which is on the side of the engine block. The oxygen sensor is a small, cylindrical device with a wire coming out of it.
Step 3: Disconnect the wire from the oxygen sensor. Use a screwdriver to pry the connector loose.
Step 4: Unscrew the oxygen sensor from the exhaust manifold. Use a wrench to loosen the nut that holds the sensor in place.
Step 5: Remove the old oxygen sensor from the exhaust manifold. Be careful not to drop it.
Step 6: Install the new oxygen sensor. Screw the new sensor into the exhaust manifold until it is snug.
Step 7: Reconnect the wire to the oxygen sensor. Push the connector back onto the sensor until it clicks into place.
Step 8: Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. The oxygen sensor will start working immediately and will help to improve your Corolla's fuel efficiency and performance.
