1. The thermostat is located on the front of the engine, at the top of the engine block, slightly left of the center.
2. It is housed in a round black plastic housing.
3. There are two bolts holding the housing in place.
4. To remove the thermostat, you must first drain the coolant from the radiator; use a pan to catch the fluid (about 1 gallon).
5. Then, remove the two bolts holding the housing in place and remove the housing.
6. The thermostat will be inside the housing.
