Where is the transmission dipstick on 1997 Mitsubishi mirage?

The 1997 Mitsubishi Mirage does not have a transmission dipstick. Transmission fluid level has to be checked by removing the drain/level bolt on the side of the transmission. The vehicle must be leveled and the engine running when checking transmission fluid level. Consult your vehicle owner’s manual for details on how to check the transmission fluid level and add fluid if needed.
