How do you take 2007 Toyota Solara convertible top down?

To take down the convertible top on a 2007 Toyota Solara, follow these steps:

1. Make sure the vehicle is parked on a level surface.

2. Turn off the engine and apply the parking brake.

3. Locate the convertible top release button on the driver's side door panel.

4. Press and hold the convertible top release button while simultaneously pulling up on the top lock lever.

5. The convertible top will begin to lower automatically.

6. Once the convertible top is fully lowered, it will automatically latch into place.

To raise the convertible top, simply follow these steps in reverse order.

Note: If you are unable to lower the convertible top automatically, you can do so manually using the emergency override lever located in the trunk. To access the emergency override lever, open the trunk and locate the black plastic cover on the right side. Pry off the cover to reveal the emergency override lever. Pull up on the lever to release the convertible top and lower it manually.
