1. Locate the flasher unit.
The flasher unit is located under the dashboard, on the driver's side. To access it, you must remove the lower dash panel.
2. Remove the lower dash panel.
To remove the lower dash panel, use a pry tool to gently release the clips that hold it in place. Start from the bottom of the panel and carefully pry it off, working your way up to the top.
3. Disconnect the flasher unit.
Once the lower dash panel is removed, you will see the flasher unit. It is a small, black box with two wires connected to it. Disconnect the wires by gently pulling them off of the terminals.
4. Remove the flasher unit.
Once the wires are disconnected, you can remove the flasher unit by turning it counterclockwise. Be careful not to drop it.
5. Replace the flasher unit
To replace the flasher unit, simply insert the new unit into the socket and turn it clockwise until it is secure.
6. Reconnect the wires
Reconnect the wires to the terminals on the flasher unit.
7. Reinstall the dash panel.
Snap the lower dash panel back into place, making sure that all the clips are secured.
8. Test the flasher unit.
Turn on the ignition and check that the turn signals are working correctly.
