1. Open the hood of your 2003 Toyota RAV4.
2. Locate the air cleaner assembly. It is a black plastic box located on the passenger side of the engine compartment.
3. Press down on the two release tabs on the front of the air cleaner assembly and lift the cover off.
4. Remove the old air filter from the assembly.
5. Inspect the air filter for dirt and debris. If it is dirty, replace it with a new one.
6. Reinstall the air cleaner cover and close the hood of your RAV4.
