2. Locate the thermostat housing, which is typically found near the top of the engine. On a 1994 Nissan 300ZX non-turbo, it is located on the rear left side of the engine near the top of the engine.
3. Remove the bolts holding the thermostat housing in place.
4. Carefully lift off the thermostat housing and gasket.
5. Remove the old thermostat from the housing.
6. Inspect the thermostat for any damage or build-up.
7. Replace the old thermostat with a new one.
8. Reinstall the thermostat housing and gasket.
9. Replace the bolts and tighten them securely.
10. Close the hood of your car.
