1. Park the car and turn off the engine.
2. Open the hood.
3. Locate the headlight assembly that needs the bulb replaced.
There are two headlight assemblies, one on each side of the vehicle.
4. Remove the protective cap from the back of the headlight assembly.
This cap is usually made of rubber.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the bulb.
_Pull on the connector, not the wires._
6. Remove the old bulb from the socket.
Turn the bulb counterclockwise to remove it.
7. Insert the new bulb into the socket.
Turn the bulb clockwise to secure it.
8. Reconnect the electrical connector to the bulb.
9. Replace the protective cap on the back of the headlight assembly.
10. Close the hood.
Make sure the new bulb is properly seated in the socket and the electrical connector is securely connected before closing the hood. Test the new headlight bulb to ensure that it is working properly.
