2. Remove the wiper arms and blades. This can be done by using a wrench to loosen the nuts that hold the wiper arms in place.
3.Remove the cowl cover. This is the plastic cover that goes over the windshield wiper motor. It is held in place by a few screws.
4. Locate the windshield wiper motor. It is usually located on the passenger side of the engine compartment.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the windshield wiper motor. This is usually done by pressing down on a release tab and pulling the connector apart.
6. Remove the bolts that hold the windshield wiper motor in place. There are usually four bolts that hold the motor in place.
7.Remove the windshield wiper motor. Be careful not to drop any of the bolts that hold the motor in place.
8.Install the new windshield wiper motor. Make sure that you connect the electrical connector and the bolts that hold the motor in place.
9. Replace the cowl cover.
10. Replace the wiper arms and blades.
11. Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
Your windshield wiper motor should now be replaced and working properly.
