1. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "ON" position, but do not start the engine.
2. Within five seconds of turning the key to "ON", press and hold the "VALET" button located on the driver's side door sill. Hold the button down for at least five seconds until the alarm light stops flashing.
3. Turn the key to the "OFF" position and remove it from the ignition.
4. The car alarm should now be reset.
