Locate the rear light bulb housing: Open the trunk of the vehicle and you will see the rear light bulb housing. It is located on the inner side of the trunk, next to the taillight.
Remove the housing cover: Use a screwdriver or your finger to pry open the housing cover. It should come off easily.
Take note of the bulb type: Take note of the bulb type currently in the housing. If you can, compare it with a new bulb to ensure you purchase the correct replacement.
Remove the old bulb: Gently remove the old bulb by turning it counterclockwise.
Insert the new bulb: Insert the new bulb by turning it clockwise.
Replace the housing cover: Replace the housing cover and ensure that it is securely closed.
Test the lights: Turn on the vehicle's lights to ensure the new light bulb is working properly.
For safety reasons, it's recommended to replace the bulbs in pairs to ensure even lighting. If you encounter any difficulties or have concerns about electrical work, it is best to consult a professional mechanic.
