Rear Shocks:

Instructions:
Front Shocks:
1. Park your Tacoma on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
2. Loosen the lug nuts on the front wheels, raise the front end of the truck using a jack and jack stands, and remove the lug nuts and wheels.
3. Locate the front shock absorber. It is mounted to the lower control arm and the upper shock mount.
4. Use a wrench to hold the nut on the top of the shock absorber while you use a socket wrench to loosen the bolt.
5. Remove the nut and bolt, and then carefully remove the shock absorber.
6. Use the spring compressor to compress the spring on the old shock absorber.
7. Carefully remove the spring and isolator from the shock absorber.
8. Install the isolator and spring on the new shock absorber, and then use a spring compressor to compress the spring (Make sure the isolator is placed correctly).
9. Repeat steps 4-8 to remove and replace the other front shock absorber.
10. Once the new shock absorbers are installed, reinstall the lug nuts and wheels, and lower the truck.
Rear Shocks:
1. Park your Tacoma on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
2. Use the jack and jack stands to raise the rear of the truck to a height where you can easily access the shock absorbers.
3. Locate the rear shock absorber. It is mounted to the lower control arm and the upper shock mount.
4. Use the wrench to hold the lower shock mount bolt while you use a socket wrench to loosen and remove the nut.
5. Unbolt the shock absorber from the frame.
6. Carefully remove the shock absorber.
7. Place the new shock absorber in position, and reinstall the upper shock mount bolt.
8. Use the wrench to hold the lower shock mount bolt while you use a socket wrench to tighten the nut.
9. Repeat steps 3-8 to replace the other rear shock absorber.
10. Once complete, lower the truck.
