1. Lift up vehicle hood.
2. Locate oil filter cap on top of engine, rear corner, driver’s side.
3. Remove oil filler cap.
4. Remove oil filter cap by turning it counterclockwise.
5. Remove old oil filter.
6. Apply a thin coat of clean engine oil to the new oil filter gasket.
7. Screw new oil filter onto oil filter adapter, turning it clockwise until it is hand tight.
8. Replace oil filter cap.
9. Replace oil filler cap.
