Pry off the plastic panels along the top and bottom of the armrest. Start by inserting a flathead screwdriver into the seam between the panel and the armrest. Gently pry the panel up until it pops off. Repeat this step on the opposite side of the armrest.
Step 2: Unscrew the bolts.
Remove the two bolts on either side of the armrest using a Philips-head screwdriver.
Step 3: Remove the armrest.
Lift the armrest up and off the door panel. Disconnect the electrical connector if necessary.
Step 4: Install the new armrest.
Position the new armrest on the door panel and align the holes. Secure the armrest in place with the bolts you removed in Step 2.
Step 5: Snap on the plastic panels.
Snap on the plastic panels that cover the bolts. Press firmly until the panels snap into place.
