- Raise and support the front end of your car securely with jack stands.
- Position yourself under the car, and locate the oil pressure switch near the oil filter.
- Using a wrench, loosen and remove the oil pressure switch.
- Remove the old O-ring and install the new O-ring on the new oil pressure switch.
- Screw in the new oil pressure switch by hand until it is snug.
- Use the wrench to tighten the oil pressure switch an additional 1/2 turn.
- Lower the front of the vehicle, reconnect the battery's negative terminal, and start the engine to check for leaks.
