Disconnect the battery: Before attempting to remove the stuck CD, disconnect the battery to avoid any electrical accidents. Locate the negative (-) battery terminal, usually marked with a black or blue cover. Disconnect the cable by using a lug wrench to loosen the bolt.
Remove the radio faceplate: The faceplate of your stereo system can be removed using DIN release keys or by using special tools designed for removing car radio faceplates. There may be slots on either side of the radio faceplate where the keys can be inserted. Gently push these keys in until the radio pops out.
Access the CD slot: Once the faceplate has been removed, you should have access to the CD slot. You may need to remove a CD adapter or other components that are blocking access to the slot.
Try ejecting the CD: Press and hold the "Eject" button on the stereo system for several seconds. In some cases, the CD may eject after several attempts.
Manually remove the CD: If the CD does not eject, you may need to access it manually. Turn off the stereo system and disconnect it from the power source if necessary. Locate the gears that drive the CD and use a screwdriver or another suitable tool to turn them gently counterclockwise. As you rotate the gears, the CD should rise out of the slot and you can retrieve it.
Reassemble the radio: After the CD has been removed, reassemble the stereo system by reinserting the faceplate and reconnecting the battery terminal. Ensure that everything is properly secured and that the radio is functioning correctly.
